A bit of trivia for you ~

Q: What do you call a group of monkeys?
A: A group of monkeys is called a cartload, tribe, troop, troupe or mission.

Bet you didn't know that, right?

I am very grateful and thankful to all of you that have loved and purchased my handmade sock monkeys in 2013! They have been shipped all across the United States, Canada and even Australia! Each and every sock monkey has gone to a loving home and I know are being very well taken care of, which makes me tickled pink!

A brand new year ~ 2014 will bring a whole new "troop" of lovable sock monkeys to my Etsy shop IndyAndCleo, and some are even in the works right now . . . so keep a watchful lookout! ✿

  1. We never heard of a cartload. How strange. Wonder what the story is behind that term? Have a terrific Tuesday.

    1. Hi Molly! Thank you for your comment, I have since added a bit more info to my post...

      Phrases~
...as artful (or clever) as a wagonload (or cartload) of monkeys...

British informal extremely clever or mischievous:
plot-wise, it was as mischievous as a wagonload of monkeys

Hope this sheds a bit of light. Happy Tuesday to you as well!

      Woof! ✿
