From the scent of a rare first edition book found in an old time book collection to a crisp, fresh book at the local supermarket, the very sight of a book can bring back memories. Reading as a child, enjoying the short stories, the long books and the ability to lose yourself in a story so powerful that at the end you're asking yourself where to get the next book in the series. This is for the reader in all of us, the celebration of Book Lovers Day!

August 2018 is also part of Happiness Happens Month!

What makes YOU happy? Happiness Happens Month is a whole month dedicated to celebrating what makes you happy. The holiday is based on the premise that happiness is unlimited and contagious and that sharing one's happiness can bring a lot of joy in other people's lives. Even though Happiness Happens Month sounds silly, it does have a very important purpose. The month reminds us that happiness happens one small moment at a time and it's our job to recognize those moments. It reminds us that sometimes, a small action boosts our happiness, that happiness is a personal experience and it is also very contagious!

Summer Movin'

Yup. The rumors are true. 📦📦
Our pawrents have been really sooooooooooo very busy lately... packing, moving and then UNpacking...we’ve MOVED! What a LOT of work!!! 📦📦📦 Good thing we are such great supervisors!! Now...which boxes have the treats & toys?!?! LOL.

Current view. Ughhhhhh. My craft room is a creative work in progress! The boxes seem to be never-ending... I’m digging through lots of paper and cardboard though! 📦📦📦 As soon as I am a bit more organized, my Etsy shop IndyAndCleo will be back.

Moving tip: Get boxes from your local beverage store. They will be fitted with cardboard inserts for bottles (champagne, wine, etc.) which are perfect for packing glassware, candlesticks, and small knickknacks.
